The Female Under-13 Prospects program has been developed to provide a competitive skill development program for 1st and 2nd year Under-13 players.
Modeled after the current male Director’s Cup Prospects, this program is designed as an introduction into the Hockey Manitoba Under-16 and Under-18 Program of Excellence.
The mission of this program is to introduce prospective U-18 players to the concepts and skills required to play at the National level before their entrance into the Program of Excellence.
Rising Stars:
The Rising Stars Plus+ program is an important introductory step for developing Male Under-13 players heading into their first year of Under-15 hockey.
Our program offers a curriculum specifically designed by our high performance staff and coaches to address the significant deficiencies we annually see in our Under-16 Program of Excellence (POE) players.
The CCM Rising Stars PLUS+ program provides eligible advanced players with the proper path to develop into a high performance athlete and to potentially wear the Team Manitoba jersey one day.
Director's Cup:
Hockey Manitoba is proud to offer the Director’s Cup Prospects program which is a standardized skills development program that will focus on key concepts and skills applicable to the “Train to Train” athlete development stage and will serve as an important precursor to the Program of Excellence.
The prospects program focuses on off-ice skills and off-ice training by emphasizing quality instruction and age-appropriate instruction. The program will culminate with the Director’s Cup Prospects Tournament.
There will be a remuneration available to coaches as well as assistant coaches above the allow compensation Hockey Manitoba pays out.
