2023-2024 Rising Stars Plus

Rising Stars 23/24 Tryouts for 2011 Birth Year Only: 

The Rising Stars Plus Program is a program for emerging high performance athletes that will focus on key concepts and skills applicable to the “Train to Train” athlete development stage and will serve as an important precursor to the DC Prospects, U-16 Program of Excellence and U-16 Team Manitoba. The Rising Stars Plus program operates annually over the course of two separate weekend events. The first of these events are the Rising Stars Plus Regional Development Tournaments which take place in two locations (East and West) on the first weekend of spring break. The second event is the Rising Stars Plus tournament which takes place on the first weekend of May at the Bell MTS Iceplex. The breakdown of these tournament weekends is as follows:

Groups and times will be assigned once registration is closed.  Dates and times may be changed due to registration numbers.

Director’s Cup 23/24 Program

Director's Cup 23/24 Tryout for 2010 Birth Year Only: 

The DC Prospects Program is a program for emerging high performance athletes that will focus on key concepts and skills applicable to the “Train to Train” athlete development stage and will serve as an important precursor to the U-16 Program of Excellence and U-16 Team Manitoba. The DC Prospects program operates annually over the course of two separate weekend events. The first of these events are the DC Prospects Regional Development Tournaments which take place in two locations (East and West) on the first weekend of spring break. The second event is the DC Prospects tournament which takes place on the first weekend of May at the Scotiabank hockey for all center. The breakdown of these tournament weekends is as follows:

2024 FEMALE PEEWEE PROSPECTS

The Female Prospects Program is a program for emerging high performance athletes that will focus on key concepts and skills applicable to the “Train to Train” athlete development stage and will serve as an important precursor to the Female U16 Program of Excellence, U18 Program of Excellence and U18 Team Manitoba. The Female Prospects program operates annually over the course of two separate weekend events. The first of these events are the Female Prospects Regional Development Tournaments which take place in two locations (East and West) on the first weekend of spring break. Eastman will be hosting one of the events.  The second event is the Female Prospects tournament which takes place on the third weekend of April at the Stride Place in Portage la Prairie.

Tryouts for the Eastman Minor Hockey Region will take place on January 21st and 23nd.  Further details on ice slots will be shared once available.  The cost of the tryout is $85 and players must register on or before January 14th.  

​​​​​​​Team Assignments and Ice Schedule will be confirmed by email after the registration closes.
